Adolescent Therapy

Adolescent therapy in Mississauga & across Ontario

Adolescence can be a time of intense feeling, identity development, conflict, pressure, and change. I offer virtual therapy for teens 13+ in Ontario, creating a supportive space to explore emotions, relationships, school stress, family dynamics, identity, and coping. The work is relational, attachment-informed, and paced around trust.

Approach

A relational space for teens

Adolescents often need therapy to feel private and trustworthy, while parents or caregivers may also need appropriate involvement. I work to build a respectful therapeutic relationship with the teen, clarify confidentiality, and include caregivers when it supports safety, communication, and care.

Build trust

Create a steady space where the teen does not have to perform or have everything figured out.

Support emotion

Help name feelings, slow down reactions, and understand what is underneath conflict or withdrawal.

Include caregivers thoughtfully

Involve parents or caregivers when appropriate while respecting the teen relationship.

A good fit for teens who need room to speak honestly

This work may help teens who are thoughtful, overwhelmed, guarded, self-critical, or struggling to explain what is going on. It can also support families who want care that is compassionate and boundaried.
