Meet Ann

Ann James, MSW, RSW, is a psychodynamic and relational psychotherapist based in Mississauga, serving clients across Ontario via secure video. She offers evidence-based, trauma-informed care that is collaborative, culturally sensitive, and paced to your needs.

Ann works with adults and adolescents on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity, relationships, life transitions, and adult ADHD. Her approach integrates depth-oriented exploration with practical skills to support change between sessions. See therapy services for more.

She is currently completing advanced psychoanalytic training, deepening her understanding of the unconscious processes that shape our thoughts, feelings, and relationships.

What to expect

A clear process from first contact to ongoing sessions. I serve clients in Mississauga and across Ontario via secure video.

    First session

    We meet for 50 minutes. I learn about what brings you in, your history, and your goals. You can ask questions about my approach and services.

    Ongoing work

    We typically meet weekly or every two weeks. Sessions focus on understanding patterns, building capacity, and integrating practical skills.

    Your pace
